Hello world, welcome to my homelab. This is my first post.
The idea of creating my own website about my homelab came, when I was reading different homelab blogs shown on the subreddit r/homelab.
I love this sub and would like to contribute to the community. As a result I created this website.
You may ask yourself, why the name “exera”. Well it was a project with a friend of mine which sadly failed. After the failure we discussed what to do and I came up with the idea of creating a homelab blog. He was okay with it, so here we are on blog.exera.ch.
In the near future I will be adding a description of what my homelab contains, and what I’d like to experiment with. Furthermore I will add posts about problems I expirienced while tinkering as well as updates done to my lab.
I personally work in IT so it is a great way to improve my skills and learn new things.

Hello Bischi
Thank you very much for mentioning the original story of exera.ch. I really feel honored. I’m looking foreward seeing your blogs frequently, eventhough i won’t understand everything. I hope you will be having fun sharing your homelab experience with the public.
Enjoy exera.ch, it’s a good thing and could really have worked at another time at another place.
Have a nice day!
Kind regards,
Your Friend
